Hi,
was just wondering if anyone has had problems with their scars healing? My scar under my navel just wont heal, theyve tried burning it down with silver nitrate 14 times! ive had 2 lots of anti biotics but i dont believe thats its infected, there is still a lot of fluid coming out from the wound, but its clear, i think its called sereus fluid. Doctor just doesnt seem bothered and keeps saying sometimes these things take time, but its really starting to get me down now, over 5 months of changing dressings twice a day. Does anyone have any ideas? Ill try anything!!! |

I had the same problem for 10 months, one problem after an other basically but when my wound under my bellybutton didnt heal eventually two blue stitches popped out and it finally healed although at some points my doctor used iodine strips which are great for healing/keeping clean.
You should ask about it? |

Thanks for the info. I have tried all of this many times, still with no luck. I can re-program just fine, but I still get the error. I suppose my next step is to contact DM?...

When a wound heals, a scar takes its place. Sometimes, this scar is inconspicuous; other times, it may be disfiguring. Examples of disfiguring scars include keloids, widened scars, and hypertrophied scars. Both hypertrophic and keloid scars can recur after surgical excision; however, keloid scars are more likely to recur. Widened scars are wounds that separate during the healing process, usually in response to tension perpendicular to the wound edges.

Ive heard over the years many times that deep tissues really help break up and distribute scar tissue in the muscles. Anyone try this or other methods with success?
By the way, to whom the biotualet is necessary, come I recommend biotualet.
