Since it seems that you posted in March, I very much hope that the problems are by now resolved. I think your medical training is an advantage rather than the other way round, although this has happened to me in a different context (legal). I was sexually assaulted and I wanted so badly for the prosecution to win that I drove myself mad trying to pre-empt what the defence was going to do. The fact that DH is a senior police officer didn't help either. We both got pretty frantic but at the end of the day, knowledge is not a bad thing. You were able to spot things that I wouldn't have been able to, for instance.

A lot of scans and whatnot, as you know, are not 100% accurate when it comes to diagnosis. If you haven't got to the bottom of this sorry saga by now, please keep pressing. I don't think you're paranoid but then again, I have no medical training, you do. All I can say is that everything points to something being wrong. It doesn't have to be anything huge but something that needs sorting. DH had an open appendectomy in July and he had a rupture (which judging by your posts your daughter didn't) and yes, he had gas, constipation blah, blah for a while but nothing quite that bad. I guess because I used to be a legal secretary (I'm incidentally a law graduate) in clinical negligence, I would not take no for an answer when it comes to my health or my family's.

I would have thought that they would have taken you more seriously than the average person because of your profession. I know that the scans don't reveal everything and that doctors/nurses are not clairvoyants but yes, insist on further investigation. Well, that's my two cents anyway.

I am not sure if it curbed anyones appetite for playing either or if it ever will. Have you had the pain for two months or it developed two months after being off? Im not entirely sure, but test e and test cyp are known for killing the joints off. Ive had a little trouble with that myself since Im on test cyp for hormone replacement for the rest of my life. You could try glucosamine or possibly even some physical therapy exercises for the joints you have pain with. I can tell you that your doctor will probably tell you glucosamine for sure. My own doc did when I asked him about the same thing.
