Post Misdiagnosis Stories

Kenneth, I was wondering if we could have a "sticky" thread where everyone could post their story of being misdiagnosed? This is a passionate topic of mine due to having suffered for 7 months with "IBS." The topic might also be helpful for people as yet undiagnosed visiting the forum.

My daughter had similar symptoms but I know he was not SBS, because I have always been home to her. She had a stroke in utero, but they were happy, alert and intelligent. She had uncontrollable vomiting random shocks, which was misdiagnosed as a virus. I was continuing to tell the doctor I do not think the fact of a virus, but from a neurological problem. I was right. brainstem my daughter stop and she walked away.
