Oops, I strained while going

Um, this is a little embarrassing. I will spare the gory details except to say that I found myself on the toilet having a huge somewhat involuntary contraction of my intestines in the course of evacuating this morning. Lap appy was 1/8/10. I will be more careful and take a little Miralax until things get going right again.

Is it possible that something like this can dislodge the staples? Would I know if this happened? I'm a little scared now. Thanks.
